Urban travel has evolved enormously over the last 15 years, but there has been little or no major evolution in terms of protection, although some models now seem to stand out.

That's why we wanted to introduce you to the Livall BH51 helmet, the urban-style connected bike helmet that seems to be the next generation of protection. But what are the things to consider about this brand and its products?

Who is Livall?

Livall is a Chinese company based in Shenzhen and has a recent history as the company was launched in 2014. Specialising in cycling equipment, the company develops smart and connected products to make the use of bicycles in mainly urban environments safer, more secure and more high-tech.

The young company, founded by Brian Zheng, has already made a name for itself in 2015 at the IFA 2015 in Berlin, winning a number of awards, but also in Las Vegas in 2016 as a finalist in the "Gadget Standing Contest" category at CES.

With several international patents to its name, the company is in the midst of a worldwide expansion and offers equipment and applications that are increasingly appealing to cyclists. Although it is in the early stages of its history, it is likely that the company is becoming a giant in its field thanks to its well-designed, high-quality products, which will probably make the company a reference in the field.

The advantages of Livall bicycle helmets

Currently, Livall is focused on the creation of Bluetooth helmets, including the Livall BH51 urban-style connected bike helmet, which offers a number of interesting possibilities for safety, entertainment, physical progress and interaction between cyclists, thanks to its ability to connect with a wide range of smartphones.

However, there are other accessories available such as the Nano Cadence sensor P1 which improves performance and helps visualise progress on a smartphone, as well as phone mounts compatible with various bike models and smart helmets for skiing.

In short, although the company is still in its infancy, it seems to be working its way up the ladder more quickly and offers a range of high quality and, above all, connected essential protection.

Function of the Livall BH51 bicycle helmet

This new generation smart helmet has interesting features that will make it increasingly indispensable in everyday life. With a light consisting of 80 LEDs that serve as a flashing light and can be seen in 270 degrees, this helmet is surprising.

It has a Bluetooth connection so you can listen to your favourite music via its speakers, but it also has a microphone so you can talk to your cycling partners. In addition, the helmet also has a walkie-talkie mode that allows you to stay in constant contact with other users.

To ensure maximum safety, the Livall BH51 urban-style connected bike helmet has an SOS alert function. This is a message which, if not deactivated within 90 seconds, will be sent with your position to the contacts you have defined in advance, so that you can be sure of getting the help you need, even in the event of an emergency. This extra security is reassuring for the users of this helmet.

All in all, it clearly has features worth discovering that ensure comfort and safety.

And its design is signed by professionals in the field. It is clearly an innovative product that will certainly be talked about and marks a turning point in cycling.

Its style remains pure and preserves all the codes of the current trend.

Conclusion of the Livall BH51 headset test

This helmet is definitely a milestone in cycling safety. Practical and stylish, it is clear that the Livall BH51 urban-style connected bike helmet is making a big splash in the cycling world.

Weebot is currently the official reseller of this new generation product which will undoubtedly change the way cycling is practised and it is therefore more than advisable to test it. In addition, it should be noted that its price, considering the potential of this helmet, remains affordable, a small plus not to be neglected.

Test and comparison, Electric bike

I bought the BH51M, it's a shame that you can't force the lights to come on. It's only automatic and in an urban circuit at night with a bit of street light and car headlights, the helmet is on less than half the time. For me this is dangerous, because at night you should be able to leave it on. And when it's on it's intermittent, it's on every +/- 3 seconds, and I think that's a long time +/- 3 seconds off, you have time to cross a junction without it being on.

We would like to buy 2 BH 51 helmets. I would like to know the range A M or km that there is between these 2 helmets Thank you in advance for your answer

Carmé Jacques

I was given a Livall BH 51 headset and I can't connect it to my smartphone. Is there any particular process as the instructions are extremely brief and do not allow me to solve my problem. Can you help me? Thank you in advance.
